Mavis’ Favourite Albums of 2013
Mavis Harris, our current National Media Relations Manager at MapleMusic Recordings & Fontana North, loves each of these albums equally so she wrote a line about each explaining why they’re her Favourite Albums of 2013. In just a few more weeks Mavis will be going on maternity leave and we’d like to take this chance to wish her & her family the best of health in the new year!
Queens Of The Stone Age – …Like Clockwork – It’s a Kid Kudi – Indicud – Love Love LOVE this record!
QOTSA record, it’s gonna be awesome regardless. “Unfuckwittable” may be my fav song of the year.
Andrew Austin – While It’s Still Light Out – I don’t have Darwin Deez – Songs For Imaginative People – Living in
much to say, listen to it – and you’ll love it GUARANTEED!! England made me love this guy, he was played in all the pubs, and his catchiness was (and is) infectious. This album is no exception.
Charles Bradley – Victim Of Love
Even if you strip away Charles’ amazing life story, his sound (and voice) still maintain a level of soul not heard of since the Motown days. A TREMENDOUS record!
