On the third self-titled album from LA hardcore outfit The Bronx‘s alter ego Mariachi el Bronx the band ditched the rulebook and dusted off old sequencers, synths and an ARP. The 10 striking songs – featuring singles ‘New Beat’ and ‘Wildfires’ - that resulted fuse traditional melodies with modern ambience. Legendary jam band Phish have returned with their 12th studio album ‘Fuego’. Originally reuniting out of genuinely wanting t hang out, eventually the band sat down to try to write in a way they never had before. Dexter Tortoriello of Houses has followed up 2011′s ‘Blow’ EP with his debut solo LP ‘Still Life’ under the moniker Dawn Golden. The Fader premiered the video for lead single ‘All I Want’ about which Dexter said: ”We wanted to show the beauty and despair and impossible realities that might exist behind those moments of mania and delusion.” Dexter will head out on a North American tour in support of the record this Summer with dates to be announced soon.
