Drive-By Truckers have released the Black Ice Vérité deluxe edition accompaniment to their most acclaimed album in years English Oceans. Featuring an additional 8 tracks with a trio of acoustic recordings from their Bannaroo performance along with new, old, and recreated tracks from this years HeAthens Homecoming Weekend at the 40 Watt Club in the band’s hometown of Athens, GA. The DVD contains footage from their 40 Watt Club performance. Vinyl copies of Black Ice Vérité are pressed on white vinyl and packaged with new artwork, seen below.

New Orleans-based singer-songwriter Benjamin Booker has released his debut self-titled record and it is one fiery blues frenzy. The 25-year-old guitar player learned from greats like The Gun Club and Blind Willie Johnson along with contemporaries like The Black Keys and The Strokes, and paired that with his raw, soulful vocals. Toronto’s very own fuzzed-out indie rock band Rival Boys have released their full-length debut ‘Animal Instincts’. The trio recorded the album at Revolution Recording Studios with Joe Dunphy who also recorded their ‘Ice Storm’ EP live off the floor earlier this year. Legendary jam band Phish have returned with their 12th studio album ‘Fuego’. Originally reuniting out of genuinely wanting t hang out, eventually the band sat down to try to write in a way they never had before.
